I got ideas off multiply things like LEGO and The LEGO
Movie. I looked at YouTube clips of the adverting campaign where Lego was
adverting though existing adverts. They did those adverts because a family will
see it and what to go to see the movie in cinemas.
In my poster it shows my character meeting the leader of the
resistance. My poster has bright colors and red writing; it is used a lot in
comedy films and bright colors are used in kids’ movies to make a charm feel to
the movie. My character goes a save the LEGO Universe for a plague.
I choose to do a poster for my movie, I had four mock up
ideas I had to pick out one from those ideas, and I went outside to take
pictures for the background of my poster, my target audience is 5-11 unsex
film, I feel like it reflect my genre. I select this idea because I think it
was best for my movie.
My first poster has a big LEGO head with the villain and is
very simple; the advantage is that it simple, the disadvantage is that it got
no action. I did not use this because I did not like it.
My second poster has my character fighting a plague monster;
the advantage is that it got an action scene; the disadvantage is that it’s a
simple fight scene. I did not use this because I feel like it wasn’t needed.
My third poster has my character standing next another
character; the advantage is it that it has another character in it; the
disadvantage is that its got no action in it.
My fourth poster has a big LEGO head and a spaceship orbit a
plant; the advantage is that its got two thing going on; the disadvantage is
that its does not look good. I did not use this because I did feel right for
the movie.
I took photo of a door and a storage place, I use an iPad to
take the pictures the reason I took those is because my main character is a
builder. My final poster is suitable for my target audience and I feel that I have correctly responded to my brief. It is creative and interesting and has good quality photographs I also feel the it give a clear message.
